  | ***Junkers Ju-52/3m @ Deutsches Museum*** I need to resume these aircraft picture threads!  So here we have one of my favorite transport planes from World War II: the infamous Junkers Ju-52/3m. A plane that began as a civilian airliner from the single engined Ju-52/1m and evolved into a light bomber and transport plane as well as a number of other duties such as paratroop drop and medical missions. A truly legendary plane, and she still looks good. This version on display here was built in France in 1947 (the French and Spanish continued to produce this aircraft after WW2) and sold to the Deutsches Museum for the symbolic price of 1 France. With people to give a size impression...   Double flaps...    Cockpit shots. The cockpit was a behind a thick and dirty plexi glass covering so this was the best I could come up with...
