My Dubai Pictures.

So I was in Dubai for a couple of days on my way back to New York. I loved every part of my visit, even though I got lost a couple of times and didn't know how to get back to my hotel room . The weather was beautiful this time around. I think this is the best time to visit Dubai.

Well, I didn't take as many pictures as I thought I would. There are so many nice cars on the road, you get used to seeing them almost everywhere, you don't feel like photographing them anymore. I don't know, I just felt like an @$$ everytime a nice car passed by and I tried to take out my camera to snap a picture of it.

So, here are the pictures:

This is near the area where I stayed, near Dubai Creek.

Burj Dubai, soon to be the world's tallest building:

Burj Alarab, the world's only 7 star hotel:

Wild Wadi, a water theme park near Burj Alarab:

Jumeirah Beach Hotel:

Mall of the Emirates, the world’s first shopping resort. You'll shop here even if you're broke ....
Ski Dubai, an indoor ski hill. That's right, it snows in Dubai .
(Images were taken from behind glass.)

A Mercedes C-Class as a Dubai Police, that was a common sight. There was also a couple of E39 BMW 5-Series Police cars that I couldn't get a shot of.

Building the Palms Islands and The World off the coast of Dubai:

Some of the cars I took pictures of:

Dubai International Airport:

And last, Dubai at night from the sky at night as we took off.

Re: My Dubai Pictures.

Thanks for the pictures... I liked Dubai when I visited it a few years ago.

I did find the entrance fee for the Burj Al Arab particularly ridiculous, hence I only took picture of it from the entrance.

It's a pity that while I was there I didn't see any supercar, not even a Gallardo.

Looks like you had a great time there!

Great pics, and I know what you mean when you say there are so many nice cars you stop take pictures, I find that when I am in Mayfair London!

Would love to go to Dubai one day!

Next time I'm there, I'll make sure I take more car pictures.

Hey James... I do remember your thread about your visit to Dubai and you were right about it being a place to shop. I'll probably buy my next car from there next time I'm in the Middle East.

I thought it was a little expensive though, more so than NYC. Maybe it's just because I was a tourist and everyone was ripping me off .

Dubai's a good place for shopping, I find their prices comparable to Singapore. Only difference is that when I was in Dubai, I found myself giving my conscience an incentive to spend... 'Since I came all the way here, why not?'

Did you take a buggy or a 4X4 to the sand dunes? I really regretted not doing that.

No I didn't .... I don't know what it is, but once I got there, I was really lazy and I had to drag myself out the door. After I left, I was disappointed for not doing a lot of things... such as take a road trip to Abu Dhabi... take a helicopter tour and so on ..

I really wasn't prepared for this trip, that's why I took it on my way back to NY. I didn't even bother to rent a car, which later I was told by a friend it's very cheap to rent one there. I should hook up with one of my Emarati brothers next time I'm there....
