I've been working on a few to erase away that nasty cigarette in Mrs. Beckinsale's hand. While by no means perfect (as closer examinationn reveals blurring), I actually consider it satisfactory. Left is the original, right is the edit ![]() I'm slowly learning |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: The Photoshop Thread Not bad, Bruce. ![]() I'd use the Clone Tool for these kinds of jobs. The smudge tool will "tear apart the surrounding area" especially if it is on a stronger setting. You were right to blur the area because upon closer examination it is a distance shot (a low quality one at that too) and that means places like her hands aren't going to be very sharp. Here's my go at it. I primarily used the Clone Tool to create cigarette free hands and also to remove the cigarette. Then I used a soft-sided coloring brush in black at around 17% opacity setting to create dark spaces between her hands for the spaces between her fingers. ![]() ![]() On a side note, you like this woman!? She smokes for crying out loud! |
