Out and About

Let me know what you think. It was a cold blustery day 20º F with 40mph winds, so about 5º F with the windchill.

Re: Out and About

I think I see a dust spot on your last picture? Don't know if you have a DSLR or a P&S. Either way if you have a P&S maybe the lense is dirty?

Choleric, you are a striving photographer. I see that you have a touch of artistic appeal, and a wonderful eye for capturing beautiful images. From what I have seen in this thread I have no complaints whatsoever.

I was using my fathers Pentax slr, Ive noticed that dust spot before too, usually I crop it out or get rid of it in PS, just forgot this time. I dont know how to clean the lens and wont try, I'll let me dad do it because he know what he is doing, plus I'll be buying my own camera here soon.

Thanks for the compliments Michael and Osna, I really enjoy taking pictures and appreciate the nice things you've said.

Re: Out and About

Choleric you should learn how to clean your sensor. I don't think the dust spot is on the lense per se but rather on the censor. You should read up on how to clean it. The dry blowing way, never use an air canister that you use to clean your computer, just a blower such as the rocket blower.

Excellent images! Beautiful composition...especially #2. You have an "eye" Choleric...continue to develop it (no pun intended.) You have taken some pretty low rolling country and shown how beautiful it can be.

Thanks for posting...

Re: Out and About

I really envy your photography skills Choleric... My possible only complaint is that the first image is too dark.

As do i

Excellent set of photo's Jeff, i would agree with Mirage77 that the first picture is a little dark, but it's a hell of lot better than anything i could have ever done

Love the third picture, especially as it looks like the sky is being pulled away from the camera
