Re: Luxury boats

Igor Sikorsky pretty much invented the Helicopter. Today, Sikorsky civilian and military helicopters are still probably the best.

Eurocopter is very good too ..and is part owned by Daimler Chrysler.

I love the big helicopters -- I have always been fascinated by them.

Eurocopter EC225

Augusta Westland EH101

Sikorsky S-92

Re: Luxury boats

Big yatches are the real billionaire symbols. These toys have monsterous price tags and only the cream of the wealthy ones can afford to own one. Most people can only afford to rent them.

Re: Luxury boats

That is certainly true Lu. The owners are very competitive with them too. One of the "battle grounds" is Port d'Hercule in Monte Carlo. This is often the first port of call for a billionaire who has just taken delivery of his new play-thing.

Here is another picture of "Wedge Too" -- this is one of my favourites.

Re: Luxury boats

I'm particularly taken by this one:

Anyone have any more information on it? Aren't those sails too big?

Re: Luxury boats

Do you remeber this one Marcus? ...I have posted it before.

Look at that Carbon Fiber furniture -- but it seems to fit in this context.

Re: Luxury boats

I have loved this interior (and its carbon fiber floor) ever since I saw it last year -- once again, I have posted this before. It is Wally sailing yacht.

Re: Luxury boats

Yes Rob, I remember those! I've never seen anything made to travel on water that was so appealing. You know what I'm thinking right? Why hasn't a car company asked the creative mind behind these designs to.........

Carbon Fiber furniture? What the..... I'm breathless. The boat in your first post looks like some type of military craft. Awesome.
