allrighty, I change my mind all the time, but this is the final selection. I'm gonna spend a bit more and I don't want to wait for an internet-delivery so this is the short list and it's 100% gonna be one of these 2:
- the Macbook 2.4ghz Black €1,315
- HP Pavilion DV2750 €1,299
( 4 gigs of Ram, 2.5 Ghz processor, 250gig HDD, HDMI, remote, 14.1" screen, )

So it comes down to this: Mac OSX with 2 gig, or Vista with 4gig. I'm leaning towards the HP, since their latest laptops are very very good, stable and I can go into the store and just buy one; The mac's are sold out and I'm so sure about the Mac hype that's going around at the moment.

I would love to go with the Macbook - but the HP, well, you will get "more" Computer for your money and you can run every normal program on it. I think, I would choose the HP!

While you get more memory with the HP, I still believe the MacBook is worth the money. Mac OS X is more advanced than Vista and the people I know who have switched to Mac say they are very satisfied with their decision and wouldn't go back.

Isn't your current laptop a HP? Maybe you'd like to try something different?

I merely heard negative things about Leopard (except from Apple die-har fans whose God is named Steve Jobs). It seems to be less stable than Vista, which is quite funny...

I think those problems were related to the early versions of Leopard. I haven't heard about stability problems after that. Most if not all the mags seem to rate Leopard much higher than Vista.

Up until now, i have never had a laptop, since it is only now that i need the mobility they offer, as well as great performance:

I need:
- Dual Core Intel CPU, 2.00GHz
- 2 GB Ram
- >200GB Hard Drive
- Wireless network, bluetooth, IR
- If possible, Blue Ray support
- 17inch screen
- at least 128MB GeForce Graphics card
- TV-Radio Tuner

So, i've pretty come up with Sony Vaio VGN-AR31S
