![]() | My computer has no sound I have this problem with my computer, suddently it stopped having sound from the speakers.I know that it has no sound card because the motherboard has a sound card.My motherboard is ABIT guru 18 bit,NV939-1,00M.The speakers cables are at the correct receptions(input sources).I tried other speakers in case the one i have are broken but still nothing.Any ideas what might be the problem? It is really frustrating not hearing anything!I havent made any adjustments at the volume control,no mute options are on.Please help! |

Then make sure that the speakers are plugged into the right socket. The last option is to reinstall the audio drivers. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: My computer has no sound Double click on the speaker symbol on the tack bar. Press file(I think, don't have XP any longer) and choose "Advance". That should show you if something is muted ot turned down. |

![]() ![]() | Re: My computer has no sound Windows Audio could be stoped. In this case Try this: Right click My Computer chose Manage > Services and Aplication > Services scroll and find Windows Audio and see if it's started, if not right click chose proprieties and chose startup type automatic. Now restart windows. |
