Re: Microsoft Surface!

That's awesome, the way you can wirelessly transfer stuff across to things on the screen is a very nice feature!

I wonder what other uses there are!

Re: Microsoft Surface!

Veeeeeeeeery cool but at the same time useless unless you're planning on installing it in a kindergarten for children to play games on.

Re: Microsoft Surface!

In no way shape or form is this useless... THis will be unbelievably practical and one of the great advance for medicine and noticibly neurology... being able to move, reshape and compare CT xray and all the scans using this technology will be a great time saver and better our operative care...

This sort of technology will be limitless in surgery for both invasive and noninvasive intercranial operations....

I disagree.... not useless... a great if not brillaint advancement

BTW im a neurosurgical registrar

Re: Microsoft Surface!

This is failrly old... I saw a prototype promo video (digital desk they called it a believe) when I took a software interface course during as an undergrad.

It's cool to see it evolve and become a real product.

Anyhow, the idea is awesome but it has (had) a major hurdle... cost.

Re: Microsoft Surface!

Very nice, but you would have to re-learn using a computer.

For a price tag of $5,000 to $10,000, no thanks.
