Gotcha, shall do it with closer hands now on. I'm doing all sorts of exercise, bench press, lat pull like I mentioned before, and pull-up assisted machines. For lat pull I do only about 120KG max, I weight about 75kG. Not too well versed with the name of the machines so can't name some of them.

Try to pull the bar in front of your head rather than behind, this focus more on your arms than your back. How many repetitions and sets do you do on for the lat pull down exercise?

Re: The weight lifting thread.

Nice thread!

Well, I don't go to the gym at all, and haven't don't any exercise for the past month because I've had a load of school work on, but usually play squash 3 times a week, and swim twice a week, which keeps me pretty fit. This summer I intend to start going to the gym and get some muscles, and get fit as well! Also I have two triathlons to train for, the first one's just over a month away!!

Ok this is what i do , and it works for me, 7 times each set, but only 3 set, plus 1 light set for warmup. On your 7th repetition you should be struggling to pull the weight down, even though you are on your 1st set. Adjust the weight you are pulling to get the suitable effect.

Okay I will try that. BTW, how many pull ups can you do? It's crazy what some of my friends - girls even - can do.

Damn...I missed out on so much info here. I'm going to have to go back and read this stuff.

BTW...all the experts. I'm going to be putting a long post on here in a few days. I need you guys to critique my plan...if you have to rip it to shreds then do it.
