Re: The weight lifting thread.

Three weeks ago started to run and now I run 2 times/week. Before that I havent done any serious running for 15 years. So it took my 15 years to start running again. Better late than never

I also go to the gym 2 times/week, since Im sitting in front of a computer everyday its nice to do some motions for a change.

Yes, weight does play a large part. One of my stratagies is to reduce my weight so it gets easier improving everything else.

Boy, I'm envious at the time you have. I was actually in a sporting team before, I played volleyball for my school. But I felt I wasn't quite the type to do sports because I'm inherently very lazy and a do-it-your-own person.

Just found out about it today, a pass for the test is 5, a pass to escape army is 7. Anyway right now I can zero, I'll be having a month of holidays in June to catch up and do my test again.

The mental block of not being to pull myself up is the biggest challenge for me. How do you suggest I solve it?

Train with your friend, make this into a competition or a bet to see who can do more, bet with a friend with similar physical strength as you, that is my suggestion, i have the same problem but i just keep practicing it and eventually i got over it.
