Re: The Caffeine Thread

I have been wanting to buy my sister an espresso maker for her birthday. Some of them are more expensive than I wanted to spend but there are some really nice machines.

I looked at these La Pavoni ones.

One for Luwalira ...a Porsche designed Espresso machine from Siemens.

I really like this coffee maker also by Porsche design for Siemens.

Re: The Caffeine Thread

well i need caffeine every morning. I get up and after I shower and stuff i get a cup of regular coffee then on the way to school every day I stop at Starbucks for all you here in the US you probably know about it and get my white choclate mocha or some similar drink.
We do have an espreso maker also but i rarely use it because im lazy and would rather spend the $4 to get it somewhere else than make it myself.

What? I've never heard of those before. I need them, especially now when the finals are just a 1.5 half month away.

LOL ...I guess that is true for me ...especially for cups and plates etc.

I would gladly skip a couple of meals for a Sèvres tea service like this

Re: The Caffeine Thread

Well honestly I don't like coffee that much myself. I only drink coffee if I have had less than 8 hours of sleep and really need to get through the day *heavy sleeper here*.

Speaking of cutlery, here is something that I like that you'll probably like too:

Re: The Caffeine Thread

I don't drink Coffee, so my caffeine kick comes from Coca-Cola Zero.

How delicious it is.. And the Aspartame induced headaches are a favourite of mine

Hey Bruce:

Not sure if you know, but Pepsi One has just as much caffeine and is sweetened with Splenda: Pepsi USA - What's In Pepsi ONE?

Coke also has a version, it has a Blue cap: Coca-Cola - Press Center - New Products - New High-Performance POWERade® Bottle

Not sure if it will help avoid headaches though...

Thanks for the links, Car Diva. Haven't heard of either product, but will definitely check them out.

Probably not. I ocassionally get them, proof that Aspartame isn't the most healthy item.

My brother used to exist on Red Bull -- I can't even stand the smell of it.

Re: The Caffeine Thread

I have and probably always will detest coffee as a standalone drink... I love mocha though. I tried an expresso in Dubai about 2 years ago, and since then I have kept my distance away from it.
