Your Choice of Coffee Shops

Just returned from Starbucks (I swear there's 5/km2 in Vancouver, along with so many other outlets). Assuming you drink coffee, was wondering where you prefer to get yours? Sorry, I only put Cdn. outlets in the poll...

Also, which coffee drink do you prefer?

Re: Your Choice of Coffee Shops

The two to three cups I need in the morning come from my own Moccamaster.

Re: Your Choice of Coffee Shops

Starbucks or whatever is closer

As a caffeine addict my preference is Espresso.

I take one as soon as I wake up ( from my kitchen)

Once at work I send for double macchiatos

Re: Your Choice of Coffee Shops

We don't have sth. like Starbucks here. So I make my own espresso or I will go into a restaurant to get a coffee!

Re: Your Choice of Coffee Shops

We don't have any of those.
Espresso House usually for me. And I usually get a big regular Caffe Latte or Vanilla Latte, depending on what day it is.

Re: Your Choice of Coffee Shops

I stop at Starbucks on the way to work for a latte (then drink that while I'm making coffee at work). On the weekends, I'll get a sugar fix with a caramel macch..

I'll have to buy a good coffee maker & do remember Bruce showing me a thread showing some that GCF members had. will check it out!

Re: Your Choice of Coffee Shops

I've only been at Starbucks (in US and Japan) so I guess I'll have to choose that. We don't have any of those coffee shop chains here so I use the local ones.

Either a Hot White Mocha Latte from Starbucks, or a Ice or Hot Caramel Latte no sugar nor whip cream from Dunkin Donuts... About as serious as i get over coffee...

Re: Your Choice of Coffee Shops

I don't drink a lot of coffee, i only consume it when I have been deprived of sleep and need to make it through the day.

But I do drink late and similar warm beverages when I'm out with friend. Unlike in the US where the only place to get coffee is Starbuck, we have a cafe culture here in Sweden. Just in central Gothenburg there are maybe 80 cafes where you can sit with friends, socialize and eat baguette/cakes or salads.

It's actually very nice with cafes and they are common meeting places during winter and for dates.
