We have "chilly" temperatures of 70 F or 21 degrees (Centigrade) BRRRR!
Ha, thanks, I gladly take that instead of 32 F with rain.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to all our North American members!

Re: Thanksgiving

OOOOOO Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade is on... the singing is so lame, and I still watch it!

Waiting for Snoopy, the turkey and who's new this year?

Floats ! floats! floats!

OK time to start working on the pies!!!

Happy Thanksgiving DAY to everyone, even if you are not on this side of Earth,

I'm sure there is something or someone you are grateful about, so take some

time tonight, raise your glasses ,have a little toast and just say Thanks

Re: Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving. or as the text message my mom got from my aunt "Harry Thanksgiving"

Turkey is in the oven, and everything should be good to go at around 3:30-4:00pm.

Slept through most of the parade, but yes the singing was not very good.

Re: Thanksgiving

My uncle did call my dad and talked to him for a while. Harry/Happy... samething. ish.

WARNING: be careful when blowing out the candles. When my dad's aunt left my mom blew out half the candles on the table at once. I wanted to do the same... wax on the face is not fun...

That's the weirdest Thanksgiving message

Now what to do with the leftovers?

I'm making lasagna and staying away from the carnage that is BLACK FRIDAY LOL

Re: Thanksgiving

Yes, I had wax all over my face, some in my eyes, on my shirt, and on the back of my shirt.
Turkey lasagna, hmmm okay
Or is it just you are making lasagna and then dealing with the leftovers.

Feed our dog(s) & cat(s)?

Other options:
- turkey "carpaccio" (roasted turkey slices with herbs etc)
- sandwiches with turkey meat
- meatballs or lasagna from ground turkey leftovers
- salads with turkey chops
