BTW, do any of you make model cars. I got a kit to make a Ferrari 360 spider a few years ago. It took an age, you had to basically glue every bit of the engine together, and paint a load of stuff. I basically finished it. Maybe I'll but a kit for the summer, something to do!
Yeah i do, i have a few kits. I got an Enzo kit, and i am still trying to finish it, all that painting, spraying and sanding is taking forever, it is defintiely taking ages because i want to get rid of the orange peel effect on the paint. And for some reason the paint covered all the holes on the cross drill disc, so i am trying to get that out as well.

Got a photo of your 360 spider?

Re: Model Collections

Thanks Derek, I used to have a few models when I was a teenager ...but I can't remember what happened to them, my brother probably got them.

So this is the only model I have right now. It is pretty good quality, really good details. I am very happy with it. I have been looking for a 1:18 Mercedes 600 for quite a while. I would really love CMC to make a 1:12 model of it.

My photos were not so good but I can repost these images first posted by Maybach-F1 at GCF

Re: Model Collections

I found more photos of this model car, I am still amazed by the level of craftsmanship and the level of details that went into this model car.

Re: Model Collections

Yeah it's good.

I think I will get that version too ...I am totally obsessed with the W100 -- I have been ever since I saw one when I was about 12 years old.

The Mercedes-Benz Classic Center edition does not have curtains or white wall tyres.

Re: Model Collections

Guys I have finally decided on my next model purchase, it is going to be a BBR Ferrari Enzo Michael Schumacher edition, it is a limited edition but I have no idea how limited it is, I have done some searching on the net but so far found nothing. Does anyone know anything about it, and what is a reasonable price to pay for a model like this?
