Habitat 67

Habitat 67
Yupp, just like the name suggests the building was finished in 1967. Despite its age of 40 years I think it is an extraordinary building. It is pretty clear that the architecture was given more of less free hands and I love the reesult. Most people would categorise the building as being modern but I think of it as deconstructive in the sense that the building is ilogical and in some sense, a waste. Where is it located? Suprisingly it is located in Montreal, Canada and it is an aparment complex for you who wonder.

Technically they are not aparments... but condos.

Either way, it is indeed a very cool building.
