Lotus Temple

This is building in India. I've been there many times when I used to live in India. I was in this real estate section and I thought why not showcase this. Lots of places in the world have been showcased here so why not something nice from india as well. The reason I chose this is because everyone knows about the main attraction of india, Taj Mahal, but not many people know this building/temple.

Your thoughts?

Yeah, I personally think that this is one of the most uniquest buildings in the world. It's so peacefull and quiet inside.

Looks pretty damn cool and big.

It reminds me a lot of the Sydney Opera House.

yes it does. I think they used the same material on this.

BTW...background on this building is this. This building is made for the Bahai faith, but everyone is welcome. I'll try to find some interior shots.

There is a documentary on it? Cool. I would love to see it.

Am I a Bahai? Nah, I'm a Sikh. But to be truthfull I'm not very religous. I believe in a an entity that is more powerful than myself but I don't beleive in scriptures. I beleive that as long as you are a good and honest person then you will have a fruitfull life.
