Quite simply we live, we die, we decompose, we introduce nutrients to food chains, and we become a part of new life that in turn sustains a variety of life forms that go on to die; decompose; and carry on the cycle. It's easy - no confessional, no change in the collection plate (matching or exceeding the person sitting next to you), and no need to open the door to strangers trying to sell you real estate in the "great beyond". As "Tyler Durden" put it so well in Fight Club, "we are all part of the same compost pile". Last edited by Bruce; 01-02-2008 at 04:51 PM. Reason: Requested |
