Re: Baller Stuff

I was panning on building a PC and was doing some research and found these... some of them are completely off the chart.

MILLION-DOLLAR-PC [MDPC] | the world's most beautiful computer systems

No, they are not really million dollars.

Spanish porcelain sculpture house Lladro is introducing a new collection for Singapore called the Great Dragons. Presented by the President of Lladro Rosa Lladro – daughter of one the founding Lladro brothers – the dragons are exquisite handmade sculptures executed in three colors, each one limited to 150 pieces worldwide.

Following Hurricane Katrina’s devastation of New Orleans in 2005 - and their headquarters in the process - the Confederate Motor Company became a phoenix-from-the-ashes of sorts by relocating to Alabama, and subsequently producing the much-discussed Wraith motorcycle.

A powerful rocket with a visage that seems more at home with Mad Max than on any modern day biking enthusiast, it served as the catalyst for their latest release – the Confederate Fighter.

Retailing for USD110,000 in the 2009 Neiman Marcus Christmas book, this limited edition motorcycle combines titanium, carbon fiber and aluminium components to create an original masterpiece that invokes visions of both past and future in a more refined manner than its predecessor.

It features a new titanium backbone unit to replace the Wraith’s carbon fiber monocoque chassis, and reaches a top speed of 190mph with its 120ci 45-degree air cooled V-Twin engine. Exclusivity is guaranteed to all buyers, with only 45 units being made available.

The Courchevel Exclusive ski set comprises a pair of “Courchevel Exclusive” skis, Lacroix Smartrack bindings, carbon ski poles, leather gloves, ski goggles and two leather pouches.

All these are encased in a leather travel trunk made to measure by Pinel & Pinel, the Parisian specialists in creating exclusive trunks and fine luggage. The case also has an additional drawer on the bottom as storage space and fitted wheels to make for easy transportation.

Only ten units of Coruchevel Exclusive ski sets will be produced, priced at 50,000 euros (or US$67,000), and exclusively available at the Lacroix boutique located in the center of Courchevel. The price includes a full, one year three Vallées ski pass, maintenance service, storage and delivery.

This Mastodon straight razor by Black Sheep and Prodigal Sons has a limited quantity of 50. The reason for this conservative assembly: the razor’s handle is reportedly carved out of 10,000-year-old fossilized Siberian Wooly Mammoth ivory, which goes some way to explaining the US$2,200 asking price.

The authenticity continues with the use of restored vintage deadstock blades with sterling silver linings and rivets. But Black Sheep pushes the depth further with its 3mm quartz Stanhope magnifying lens on the task handle, which contains a customizable microscopic image of vintage erotica.

Handcrafted in New York, each set comes in a handcrafted wooden box with a black linen sleeve.
