Making artistic pieces of furniture from weapons is nothing less than a work of art. Designed by Alexander Reh, the Fully Loaded Chair is made from real shotgun shells. The solid steel chair has been stuffed with once-fired 12-guage shotgun shells. The welded steel frame is gun-blued by hand and can be loaded with many shell options. With the shotgun shells, this chair is really fully loaded and would appeal to those who always want the best and out of the box. While I didn’t find the Pencil Bench really comfortable, I think the Rehhab Fully Loaded Chair won’t explode your butt. No word on pricing for the weaponized chair, but the ingenious designer has started taking orders.

A black crystal Baccarat decanter contains a Cognac that is made from a blend of some 1,200 eaux-de-vie that have been aged betwen 40 to 115 years. Apparently ripe with romas of vanilla, cream, spiced flowers, and fruit precede with a palate that blends flavors of passion fruit, ginger, nutmeg, and sandalwood, the Louis XIII Black Pearl 750 ml decanter is available to 786 lucky people for a mere $US 8,000. For those who require a rarer set, they can fork out the $US 36,000 for the 1.5L magnum.

Fans of Art Deco artist Erté will be interested in grabbing one of the final eight sets of seven different Art Deco cognac bottles designed by the Russian-born French painter in the 1980s and being released this season by Courvoisier. Each bottle depicts a step in the cognac-making process. The bottles will also hold a set of rare blends of the finest cognacs from the Grande Champagne region (including one dating back to 1892!) Each collection is $US 10,000, and a small number of individual bottles are also being sold for $US 1,450.

Courvoisier have also made a limited run cognac to mark the bicentennial of Napoleon’s crowning as the Emperor of France on December 2, 1804. Courvoisier J.S. Succession is, as all things baller, a limited-edition cognac of just 2,500 bottles (priced at $US 4,000 each - which can be purchased via Harrod’s in London). The Cognac consists of a blend of single-estate vintages that date back from 1910 to 1945 which were apparently sourced from a cognac maker in the Grande Champagne area who's personal reserves were deemed so extraordinary by Courvoisier when they purchased the stock from the family, that they decided not to blend it with any other! The bottle comes packaged in a one-sixteenth replica of Napoleon I’s war chest.

I’m curious to know if there’d be any cables running to and fro or if those are hidden as well. You’d obviously have peripheral cables and a power cable coming out of the back but I wonder if the internal hard drive, fan, and power cables are hidden somehow.

There’s still not a whole lot of information on this case, like whether it’ll actually be sold, when it would be available, and how much it would cost (I’m guessing “expensive”) but perhaps we’ll hear more during the last couple days of CeBIT, which ends on Sunday.
