Yep, bloody winter with lots of f...g SNOW.

I just hate it. In the city. In the streets, roads, driveways, backyards etc

Stupid meteorologists forecasted an inch of a snow for this morning, and when woke up & looked out I almost had a hearth attack.

10 inches of f..... snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I need to meet some people 100 miles away in a few hours ... Great. Just great.

So, I have move the snow away,so I can get my car out of garage ... not to mention my driveway isn't that short at all ... and it has to be cleaned now. D..n it! And my lady has some "lady's problems" ... so I has to do it completely by myself.

So, some hard work has to be done ... And it started to rain lightly outside ... and everything is now turning into ice-coated "winter fairytale".



I just hate snow ...


What about you, guys?






PS: not to mention our dog turns into a snowball when in contact with snow ... since the snows kind a glues itself to the dog's fur. Bad! And then the poor dog has to be given a shower to be "defrosted". And she don't like it at all ... Shower. Yet she loves snow ... unlike me.

Well here in the land down under, we don't have such problems at all, well it snows in certain part of the country, but not in Sydney, so come on down for a holiday, or live next to me, my neighbour just moved out and the house is for rent.

Well, there actually is some snow here this winter... but we're quite well prepared for it.

Back when I still lived with my parents it was my job to clear the snow off the driveway and I just took it as good exercise. All in all, I much prefer having snow, it means it's not nearly as dark outside with the white snow reflecting the little light we have (length of day 4 hours 46 minutes...)

I hate English snow, it's always to thin and starts to melt straight away then everything gets really muddy!

But today we have had really bad fog, couldn't see a couple of ,meters in front of you

I'm so sorry! I lived in snowy parts of the country, I hated it too.

After a day or two, that lovely winter wonderland turns into in a brown ( or black) muck, that sticks to all your cars, clothes... YUCK!

Presently, (in Florida) the only snow I see is in snow cones

I hate snow too! oooh and I don't like ice either.

I definitely agree with MikeJ. Last winter was particularly warm so where I live we only had (some) snow for few days and the whole winter felt like late autumn (rain & dark after 3 pm).

It's also worth mentioning that snow can be very different depending on the surrounding temperature conditions. Warmer air temperature results snow that contains more water and so it's heavier and melts faster. When the air temperature is colder, snowflakes tend to be smaller and lighter.

I much prefer real winter when the temperature occasionally drops below -15 degrees (centigrade) and there is a lot of snow. In February when we get more sunlight, the snowbanks literally glimmer.

The worst part about it snowing when I lived in Connecticut was the damn snowplows would clear it off the streets.

I would have to go to large parking lots to have fun. I could never get the car stuck, and knew it was time to go home when the radiator was packed with snow and the engine started to get slightly warm.

The only thing I had to clean the snow off of was my car, so it was not a problem.

OK ... now it rains. And the white crispy s..t is turning into brown soggy one.
