I'm thinking of getting the 16Gb Ipod touch. I was wondering if any of you guys had experience with it, or know people who have. Is it worth the purchase or just another Hype. Don't think too much about the price, I will be importing it from the US and thanks to their crappy government, it's rather cheap for me

My bud's mother has it and loves it. Imo you don't get enough space for the price but it's awsome so chose yourself

To me, it's not worth it. Sure it's great eye candy, but what are you really getting for something that expensive? Not much.

I've played with it. It's okay and not more. I'll be buying a Microsoft Zune 80 in 2-3 weeks off eBay which I will use until a perfect 32GB flash based touch screen device is on the market.

I'm doing exactly the same. Getting the Zune 80. Not a fan of iTunes on windows, and I will not buy Apple computers.

well, I'm still very much considering buying one. It's a lovely device, I can still get some money for my 30gig video and with that crappy dollar, it's gonna cost me about €280 which is a damn good price

Well the Zune 80 is a very good alternative. I was a little torn when Apple presented the new iPods. It was either big screen or big capacity. I found myself in a trance not knowing if I want the Classic 80GB or the iTouch.

Then out of the blue came the Zune 80 which features a 80GB HDD, 3.2 inch screen, WiFi syncing and all that for $250 vs the $400 price for a iTouch 16GB.

The Zune 80 is offers the best of both worlds. Relatively large screen and plenty of GBs. I'm looking forward to picking one up on eBay, gotta love the crappy value of the dollar.

PS. I've meet the girl on your avtar and have pictures on my computer with me and her. They aren't explicit though. I've never experienced such high level of sex appeal as the time I was with her. Pictures don't do her justice.

Sorry to bring this back to life, but has anyone here bought one? I'm seriously considering it after all the jailbreak applications have appeared and it makes a really sweet device.

However, the price is kind of a big turn off (you can almost buy an Xbox 360 with that... just to put it in comparison) and heard the sound quality isn't as good as my Creative Zen M.

I also have a feeling that within a few months, there's gonna be something even better cause they left so much room to improve.
