The Street

TA soldier Private Nick Calshaw (Jonas Armstrong) is calling home from Afghanistan. The answer phone kicks in and he leaves a message. On her return from school his sister Ellie plays back the message. As Nick talks, there are panicked shouts in the background, a baby starts to cry, someone shouts "Shoot her!", there's a massive explosion and the line goes dead. Badly scarred, Nick returns from Afghanistan to the street, but his hero's welcome is short-lived when paranoia and insecurity turn him into a monster.

Dunno if any of you have watched it, but it's very emotional, really captures the feels and emotions of a soldier injured from war!

Would really like to watch, but:

"Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only, but all BBC iPlayer Radio programmes are available to you. Why? "
