I hope the lady in the Renault lives, it would be an awful way to go, when none of it was her fault!

BTW, is the Porsche the cabriolet, or did they have to cut the roof off?

Not sure. I just know our E-Class is a pretty safe car. We just returned from Switzerland with it and it's a great cruiser for long distances as well.

Hard to tell. Perhaps the Porsche experts here can tell us. It looks like a 996 body style 911 Carrera to me, coupe.

It also looks very weird to me. I think that the Porsche didn't crash on the Renault in first place. It may hit something first, then the driver lost control, hit something else like a tree and ended up on the Renault. I'm not sure though. It's very strange...

Nothing in the papers today about this accident. I will need to ask around some more. Interesting idea though.

This is one reason why I would never lend my car to anyone. They mess up, cause an accident and you're the one who ends up in big trouble!

That's true his friends put him in a pickle, but something tells me he's more concerned over the lost of to friends.
