That was sad as well. I think Michael is getting more attention because he is more well known then Farrah Fawcett, not to say one is worth more then the other. Another thing is that her death was expected and Michael Jackson's was a suprise to everyone.

It still amazing to hear people complain about Michael getting new coverage, then when Elvis was getting coverage everyone wanted to smile and cheer.

He was a child molester, death doesn't change that fact. Death doesn't make him a better person. Like ree said, hundreds of thousands of people die each day, most of them probably a much better person than MJ, but nobody cares.

He may not have been convicted of child molestation, but then OJ wasn't convicted of murder.

Unless you were a victim of his, then you don't know if those "rumors" were true or not. I can say Elvis was a fat racist, but it doesn't make it true.

That "oh people die every day" crap is old a pointless. When a celebrity dies, you are going to hear about it. That is life. Of course your not going to hear about everyone, there wouldn't be enough time in the world for that.

I'm sure if you died and someone posted a thread about you, you wouldn't like for me to come here and talk about you like your life didn't matter. Let me guess what your response would be, "Oh I'll be dead so it doesn't matter". Well it would matter to people who actually thought something of you.

Well every single word you wrote is right…but for some reason, I'm still not really convinced!

If someone of my friends/family die, it's different to me – I've known these persons very well, know about their lifes etc…
…but it's different with a celebrity! You only make contact to these persons over media/internet/TV in front of you on a stage…

…I want to say, that you don't have such a intense relationship, like to someone of your family/friends etc! And that's the reason, why this don't really make me cry. Well it was a shock to hear these news…but that's about it.

I just hope (also for the family of Michael Jacksons), that his dead will not used for commerce and making money…and that the rumours will not start again. This man has deserved peace.

Nevertheless I don't want to start a general discussion here about celebrity and their death…

I wouldn't care what you said about me and someone very close to me has died, very tragically, and plenty of bad thing were said on comment sections in the news websites about him. Did it bother me? sure, but people can say whatever they want, theres nothing I can do about, so I don't worry about it.

If I offended you personally I am sorry, but thats how I feel about the guy. Just because he died doesn't mean I have to say nice things about the guy, he was a child molester, I don't feel bad for him at all.

MJ many plastic surgeries on his face, nose may or may not be real.
Makes himself to look like and live like peter pan.
Issues with little boys proven or not.
Holds a baby off a balcony several stories up.
Spending more money then he has and continued to do so for years
We could go on.

Paul Newman
Great actor
Good racing driver
Married to same woman for 50 years
Started a company that has given well over $200 million to charities
We could go on.

If you don't want to be remembered for your questionable habits don't do them.

An hour before his death his was given an injection of painkiller an n ow coincidently his doctor had fled??

Cause if we cant trust in the judicial system when it comes to freeing ppl why should we then trust in it when we convict people and send them to death or life in jail..
