What a Dream: "Doogie Howser" & My Brain!!!

Ok, this has got to be one of the strangest dreams I've ever had. For the past 3 nights, I'm admitted to hospital for brain surgery. When the doctor enters the operating room he turns out to be no more than 18 or 19 years old

Now if that isn't bad enough, "Doogie Howser" begins to make incisions with car keys being handed to him by his trusty nurse. Not sure, but I believe he's using BMW keys and perhaps those of an Audi Q7. Furthermore, the nurse is handing him reviews of different cars that he reads and summarizes on his computer as I lay there reading about torque & horsepower numbers. So there he is posting on GCF and CZ while making incisions using the reflection from his monitor to cut into my gray matter.

Then, as always, I wake up in a cold sweat to find myself reading GCF car reviews. If this persists I will see a psychiatrist (and hope he or she doesn't turn out to be 15 or 16 years old).

LOl...Anybody out there care to interpret my dream? Too much internet I suppose, but maybe some faulty wiring or a really bad batch of neurotransmitters?

Ok, I'll take a crack at it!

Hummm... sounds like some kinda Canadian Malaise. Are you eating organic?

1) You fear to be treated by some SOB young know-it-all that only cares about German performance cars that do not have the 'easy access' feature.

or

2) you went to sleep after having some of the same bad wine Bruce got drunk on...

I just think you have too much on your mind, your dreams are purging thoughts that are mixed and mingled in the back of your mind.

Just in case, stay away from hospitals, and avoid watching Doogie re-runs!

Re: What a Dream: "Doogie Howser" & My Brain!!!

I think this is a very very clear message of your subconscious.

All the Beemer and Audi fans are trying to convince you that BMW and/or Audi are the better cars, thus the BMW/Audi key to open your mind and try to put this idea in your brain.

The fact that he is reading/wrinting on GCF while opering you shows two things:1) he still wants to convince you, and thinks the fact you see these reviews while your head is incized will be a more efficient way to convince you, and 2) he is a young cock that knows nothing about cars, only what the reviews say. (This is why he is a Beemer/Audi fan. )

Whereas you, with all your knowledge and experience, perfectly know there is nothing better than a Merc. Your brain is trying to defend himself! This is why the surgeon he appears to be young, unexperienced. Your brain knows Merc is the best, and shows you a too young surgeon so that you see you must not "listen" to him. It means you must not listen to all the Beemer/Audi fans!

My advise: buy a Mercedes, be yourself! Don't listen to the Beemer/Audi fan here!

wow, I have been telling people GCF can be dangerously addictive, and there is the proof ! Your dream made mine sound relatively normal, thank god.

Can't really interpret your dreams, but I know how you can fix it, just spend more time looking at photos of Kate, that will help you I hope.

You may be right. Mitch seems so full of energy for a neurosurgeon with his BMW reviews and so forth...you'd swear he was 18 or 19 years old rather than 18 + the number of years it takes to assume such a prestigious postion.

Canadian mayonnaise is enuf to give anybody convoluted dreams.

LAWL on 1) There may be some subconscious truth in that but I've always respected the drive and energy that a lot of younger people have. Btw, your missing "easy access feature" is hilarious!

2) The bad wine could be another possible explanation...but Bruce drank it all (at least the portion the cats didn't get)

There may well be too much on my mind (mixing CZ, X-files, clients, and regulators I have to deal w/ gets overwhelming at this time of year...so perhaps the surgery is a good idea (as long as the Doc switches to doing at least a few Lexus and MB reviews while he's operating).

Thanks for potentially solving this problem

Haha! Great analysis! I think you're on to something...fact is for me its gotta' be Mercedes (most models: CL please) or lexus (the LS460 anyways). So until he convinces me to switch (at which point I die in my sleep), I've still got a chance to lead a normal life

So really you're saying switch GCF addiction with a Kate obsession...Wonder what kind of dreams that will bring on

Sounds like a good fix to me...Thanks!
