took 'Little' Suzie for a 550 km drive. she performed well managed a top speed of 140 km/h . noticed the specially imported Ferrari 599GTB rear lights..

Managed to not run over a cute little armadillo these evening!


considering it was pitch back, this animal walks at the rate of molasses and i was on a narrow road... quite an achievement! especially for the armadillo!

Very Common! and yes, armadillo faces are so cute!

We also have deer, squirrels, raccoons, gators, cranes, rabbits, all sorts or snakes, turtles, lizards and birds or prey... and this is the local fauna!

I used to see more turkey ( wild turkey that is) , bobcats and fox, but as man encroaches on their territory they disappear.

Part of the land our house is built on is a nature preserve, which means you own it but you cannot disturb. So we have our own private lake ecosystem to observe from all angles

LOL I was once had a presentation at school about armadillos. The coolest thing is that some of them can roll up into a ball. That's so awesome!
