If I give him a small stick, he won't touch it. I guess it is a sort of macho thingy with him. He'll only go for the big sticks.

Frankie turned 2 years old in September of 2006. He still acts like a child too. And yes, he stays in the basket. He actually enjoys it.

LOL, it must be quite annoying having to throw huge sticks all the time!

Seems very active, aging well, even though he's still young!

Not really, it's kind of fun. Sometimes he'll even bring them home and we could use it for our winter stove.

The funny thing is people always talk to me about the dog, and when he carries a stick, EVERYONE talks to me. Frankie's a real chick magnet too. Girls just love this dog.

He is a great little dog Chris. My Jack Russell died at the end of last year ...she was 16 years old. I think of her every day.

I will never understand people who do not like dogs .....all the best people like dogs.

BTW Chris, you said you were allergic to Oranges .....I am allergic to Kiwifruit.

It's a smart thing to preserve memories of your pets on videos since their lives are so short.

Rob, sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I can certainly relate. I lost my 13 year 10.5 month old German Shephard, Chaka, on Oct 26, 2006 and also lost his daughter Custard (12 yr 7 mth) this morning. Still have Custard's mother with me who is now 15 years and 2+ months. She is a German Shephard mix (the mix was supposed to be wolf - but I don't know about that). Pretty much feels as if one lost a child.
