![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | First of all thanks to everyone, that submitted a photo this week!! First I thought, that Beemer and I would be the only one…I hope, that we have a chance to get more attention to these photos comps again!! Difficult to choose as always. but I'm think I vote for Mikaels one this week. The photo is just perfect, especially by considering the title of this photo. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thank you for everybody who entered a photo this week! All of the four photos are so nice that choosing between them was very difficult. Again Beemer's photo has that impressive effect on the sky. I especially like the lower part where the color changes to turquoise. It reminds me of the ocean. Cale's "candle thing" looks great. I like the photo but also the object itself as a design detail. Where do they sell those? ![]() I love the sepia tone in Bruce's photo. You could swear this was a screen capture from a film from the 60's/70's! Very nice! ![]() I like how ree's photo grabs your attention. The frames enhance that effect. It's very sharp! The shadows and the cracks form nice contrast to the light-colored ground. This picture gets my vote! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well explained Mikael, and I agree, each photo has its own special appeal and style. Tough one indeed. For me it was between ree and CaleDeRoo. Ree's photo puts great detail to something as simple and every-day as an animal footprint. The sharpness of the photo, as well as how it seems as though the dark crack lines are spreading out from the black fame gives the photo a cool look. Cale's photo appeals to me because it is a black and white capture of something simple. It gives a usually boring object some life and interest (as in, usually I wouldn't take a second look at a candle-holder, but this photo gives the subject some sense of interest and design). A little extra contrast could add a little more to the photo, but then again I can see you've tried to give it a 'dull and lonely' feel to it. In the end I opted for Ree..but only by a whisker over Cale. |
