I know I don't participate at thebyte much, but from what I see, there are only 2 or 3 threads which are ever active simultaneously at thebyte, so these can easily be put back over at GCF.

I agree though that thebyte should try to stand on its own two feet, and as sad as it might sound, I gotta agree with Rob on his suggestion. How are the other sister-forums doing? I imagine they're okay since they are still automotive related.

We could do that, but then we are loosing some members, I know some members on here who don't often go to GCF E.g The Diva.

That's true, and also there is also a little difference in the culture here at CZ compared to GCF, so maybe moving these threads to GCF would result in more meaningless and immature threads instead of the good, civilized discussions that exist at thebyte.

In the meantime I'd go for Rob's suggestion of trying to create a few more appealing and engaging topics that would attract some of the GCF members who don't post here. I know the General Photo Comps are suffering, but how are the other threads here at CZ doing?
