Rules:

• The submitted picture must have been taken by the submitter.
• Only one photograph per person and per week is permitted.
• The submitted photograph may not be changed once it has been entered.
• There are 5 days to submit your photograph, a poll will be created after five days for people to vote on. (Voting from Friday morning to Monday morning, then a new thread will be created Monday morning for entry)
• Your image must be a resolution of 1024*768 or lower. If it is not, your picture will not be in the voting thread.
• In the interest of fairness, entrants may not vote for their own photograph.
• The photograph should be submitted with: A Title, the date, and the type of camera.
• Photoshop and other image editing softwares: Levels, Curves, Colour Balance, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation, cropping, or anything else possible in the development process or with filters and common special lenses is permitted . Other adjustments and effects (Color Selective - pending) are not permitted

Great airplane pics Beemer!! I can remember the time, when I sat 7 hours in front of my PC and doing all these long distance flights with the A340-500 and -600!

Hahaha... playing flight sim I imagine?

About a year-and-a-bit ago I was actually on a flight from Sydney to Hawaii..and as we were about an hour out from touching down in Honolulu, I got out my laptop and started playing Flight Simulator X by doing some fly arounds Honolulu airport in the game. The guy beside gave me a weird stare at first, but then realised how cool the game was, and how funky it felt to be flying in the game the same wy the actual aircraft was.

Once I upgrade my Flickr account to 'Pro', I'll then post more aviation photos.

Yep!!

Started with the Flight Simulator 98, then Flight Simulator 2002 and 2004 – my computer is to slow for Flight Simulator X though!! But I definitely have to reinstall the 2004' and fly again…not as extreme as before, but sometimes it's really cool…

…and a question for Flight Simulator X - are there still keys like STRG+E (to open the doors) etc working?!

Hehe yeah, I'm the same.. I used to play that game 24/7, but you kinda get over it after a while, but it's still fun playing it again every now and then. I love doing the missions, but I also like downloading new aircraft and flying them (nice flying the A380, B787, A350 and also got the SR-71 and XB-70!).

As for controls to open the doors, yep, FSX still has that sort of fun stuff.

Do you live anywhere near an airport...coz if so, you should give aircraft spotting a go.

Now does anyone here know if a Imac would do the work.. im really in the market for one..and the last question mark is the FSX..
