Thanks BTW for the nice comments on my photo! But actually, I was a bit disappointed when I took this picture, because I wasn't able to capture the real beauty of the sky at that time. Maybe I can try to explain it in words: the sky was very dark (some shade of black), and in contrast with it there were several cotton-like clouds, not too many, and with a light gray or even yellowish color. And between those clouds, there was the full moon, bright white, illuminating the top of those passing clouds. If I had more experience (like NevadaJack and others), or better equipment, I could have taken the most exciting night picture of my life
But I wasn't even able to capture the beauty or the shape of the moon (no matter what I tried, the photo was overexposed each time). So I tried something else and used the bright moonlight as a sort of background
If someone knows how to take a decent picture of the moon with a relative simple digital camera like mine (Canon Digital Ixus430, 3x optical zoom I believe), don't hesitate to tell me
