The footprint fireworks were computer generated and shown on the screens in the stadium and on Tv. They weren't really there.

Wow, that was really something! Thanks for sharing Alfie


I got to see the women's gymnastics and IT WAS GREAT!

The gold and silver were won by two Americans, the two ladies are exceptional and graceful athletes.

But the fact that stood out most over the other competitors, they were totally submerged in their performances! You could see clearly how much they enjoyed what they were doing, the other ladies looked like "DO IT OR DIE".

Without a doubt too much pressure will ruin anything!


BTW.... doesn't the "bird's nest" look like a toilet ???

I like the stadium as well, a real engineering marvel.
