Re: The most expensive watch in the world.

If I had two watches, one would be a lightweight sports one, rubber, plastic and whatever helps; and one would be a dress watch or everyday watch, huge water resist not necessary. I say that because some of the more expensive watches (but nothing in this $1.5m league!) I've seen only have 30m water resist or whatever, whilst watches much cheaper have more water resist. That said, I don't really do much sport these days, so I can do with one watch.

That Carrera watch looks pretty ok, I like it, though it's not quite my favoured style.

Here are some of my current favourites:
Seiko, seen for around AUS$200, I might buy this one myself. Simple and elegant.

Tissot TXL Seven, I like how it combines both analogue elegance with digital 'precision' (lack of possibility of parallax error). Maybe around AUS$500?

Rado Ceramica 'Multi', same as above, and it's pretty unusual to see a black watch. But I think it costs AUS$2300, which isn't quite US$600.

Emporio Armani, I've never really been a fan of splashing designer names around, but I like the watch for itself. Maybe around AUS$650.

$11 millions for a watch? I hope it comes with a 4 hectars of land on the moon.

the first one is looking great, but i'm not into bracelet... I prefer leather! I think it looks better on me.
I am usually dressed with a suit, white shirt, red tie...(like those smartly dressed employees in international companies) Think that these watches look great on me!

Re: The most expensive watch in the world.

Speaking of expensive watches, my friend has Rolex he wants to sell. He wants $3,500 for it. I'm not into watches, but I tried it on

Sorry to be a little off topic but what do you guys think of the Carrera watch by Tag Heuer?

Or any recommendations for watches below USD600?
I really like the look of this watch Mirage77

Snake those are some really nice...reasonably priced watches. I particularly like the black one.

Re: The most expensive watch in the world.

I have a previous generation TAG Heuer F1 Chronograph. It's a working watch and never leaves my wrist. Not for sports, scuba diving or just about anything. It's been dropped, bumped, bashed, been down to 60m and it just keeps going. When it breaks for good, I'll buy another one.
