Going to Canada. Need Advice from my fellow Canadians!!!

Well boys, im going to Canada with the wifey from July7th at night too July 11th afternoon. Were coming in through Niagara Falls, looking for a nice route for the four days, will be in the Aston of course . Just wasn't sure to stay in Niagara for all the time or spend a day there and go else where. Im open to plan a nice route for different things everyday. Just need some of your guys help, since you know the area. If anyone can suggest a nice 4 day trip plan (hotels, what city's to go to, what to see) for me, i would very much appreciate it! Thanks in advance, Alx!

Re: Going to Canada. Need Advice from my fellow Canadians!!!

I'm obviously a Canadian myself, but I'm afraid I'm not familar with that particular area. Here's an idea, why don't you drive to Vancouver and give me a ride in your DB9 J/K.

On a more serious note, I'm sure Siko or Bartek Sikorski will be of greater help!

I think most Canadians would agree there isn't much to see in either Manitoba or Saskatchewan, for a tourist anyways. Therfore I wouldn't bother heading into such territory (unless you're inclined to visit Alberta or British Columbia).

Should be a great drive. If you don't mind driving a little further I suggest you stay in Toronto instead of at Niagra falls, it's probably changed since I went two years ago, but when I went there wasn't too much to see (at Niagra falls). If you do head to Toronto, check out this restaurant. I've heard many good things and the next time I go I'll be sure to check it out as well. Other than that I can't give you any advice, like Bruce I live on the other side of Canada. You should msg Siko, I think he lives around there.

Not too familiar with Niagara area except the falls, and that was long time ago. You can get hotels that are very close to the fall, with the revolving restaurant- I think it is close to the convention area or something.

I have heard wonderful things about Montreal, so that will be a nice trip but it may quite some kilometres.

Now if you are going to Alberta- then there are beautiful places to visit.

The CN towers restaurant is a fantastic one- I always go there when I go visit my sister.

Re: Going to Canada. Need Advice from my fellow Canadians!!!

I haven't been in the Niagra region since I was a kid... and last I heard it's a bit of a cheesy tourist place with nothing else really than the falls. Plus I don't know southern Ontario that well so I'm afraid I'm kinda useless for advice.

That said, if you are going to be in that region, I think Notic's idea to drive up to Toronto sounds good. Costal drive with stops in Hamilton & Mississauga... which I hear are quite nice. Again, I haven't been there but it's an idea.
